In this guide, we will go through the steps to turn off the junk mail filter for Mac. Before we begin, make sure you now have a modern version of macOS (macOS High Sierra or newer).
How to disable the junk mail filter in macOS High Sierra
Step one: First off, launch Mail app on your Mac and then make sure you select the Mail menu
Step two: Next up, click on Preferences from the list of options and then hit Junk Mail

Step three: Now just simply check the box for Enable junk mail filtering to disable the feature
Once you are done, exit out of the Preferences window and head to the junk inbox in Mail. After that, you can remove emails in the junk folder.
If you change your mind, you can easily enable the feature. To do this, repeat the above process and check the box for Enable junk mail filtering again.
How to move email from junk folder to inbox in Mail for Mac
Once you have successfully disabled the junk filter feature, now it’s time to move email from junk to inbox. The process is pretty simple and we will show you how in the section below.
Step one: Launch the Mail app on your Mac and then locate the Junk folder
Step two: Now just simply select the email message you wish to move to inbox and then hit Move to Inbox
Step three: If you wish to move multiple emails at the same time, hold down the Command key and select all the emails. After that, right-click and select Move to Inbox to complete the task.
